TV ANCHOR & INTERNATIONAL PRESENTER:
As a broadcast journalist with more than twenty years’ experience at leading U.S, Middle East and European TV networks, Rebecca McLaughlin-Eastham is a sought-after presenter, event host and media trainer.
Most recently, Rebecca anchored and executive produced Inspire Middle East, Euronews NBC’s weekly flagship TV show which takes global viewers on a voyage of discovery through the Middle East and North Africa’s commercial, creative and cultural landscapes.
She also fronted Business Line for the network and covered the region as a live news correspondent in current and political affairs.
She is the former Middle East Business & Oil Correspondent for Bloomberg Television in London and Dubai, prior to which she was a stock market correspondent and Bureau Chief for CNBC Television in Paris.
During her fourteen years in the Middle East, Rebecca also anchored the flagship current affairs and business programme for state broadcaster Dubai One TV, plus co-hosted radio shows on DubaiEye 103.8FM and Abu Dhabi’s Classic FM.
Rebecca has interviewed hundreds of CEOs, celebrities and heads of state over the years.
Some notable interviewees have included: The Prime Ministers/Presidents of France, Britain, Egypt, Canada, Liberia, Romania, Italy & the Maldives, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, His Highness Turki bin Faisal Al Saud, Bernard Arnault, Sylvester Stallone, Gwyneth Paltrow, Nobu, Nancy Ajram and Vivienne Westwood.
MEDIA TRAINING & PUBLISHED WORK:
Rebecca is a highly regarded media trainer, having prepared executives for IPOs, delistings, mergers/acquisitions, board reshuffles, crisis comms and media announcements for nearly two decades.
She is also an accomplished ghost writer, having co-authored a published novel for a UAE royal family member and penned speeches for UAE ministers and regional politicians to deliver in prominent global arenas. Furthermore, Rebecca has written extensively for leading global publications from Vogue Magazine and The National newspaper to the South China Morning Post and the Wall Street Journal.

Moderating and hosting events is something Rebecca particularly enjoys. She has vast experience across all sectors and genres, from the entertainment world to industry and company award ceremonies, including red carpet premieres, pop culture gatherings, sporting galas and ecology summits.
Her moderating and emcee work from the past decade has also included plenty of high- profile and exclusive appointments, such as the World Economic Forum, the World
Government Summit, Expo 2020 Dubai, the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, Fashion Forward, the World Energy Government Series, FII (Future Investment Initiative Institute)
Saudi Arabia, Global Citizen Forum and ongoing events for the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry, to name a few.
Rebecca is a UAE-based, London-raised, Irish national. She loves her work and is passionate about giving back, acting as a mentor to aspiring media professionals and students in the Middle East. She has lectured in broadcast journalism at Murdoch University in Dubai and is herself a university graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science.
