At 26, Munaf Kapadia quit his job at Google, India to become the full-time Chief Eating Officer of The Bohri Kitchen – a venture founded by him and his mum to make the lesser known cuisine of his small community – Dawoodi Bohra world famous. Munaf now goes as the self-styled – Guy Who Quit Google To Sell Samosas, which is also the title of his forthcoming book slated to release in August, 2020. His efforts have put him on the Forbes 30 under 30 (2017) list, Forbes Asia Arts Top 30 (2017) list, Entrepreneurship Magazine’s 35 under 35 (2017) list and Conde Nast India’s Top 50 Food Influencers (2017). He is also the recipient of the Midday Rising Star Award (2018) and the prestigious INK fellowship (2018).
